Heaveroo Vomit Bib — Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Heaveroo is fully CPSC compliant. What does that mean?
Every Heaveroo bib is tested in a CPSC- accredited laboratory and comes with a Children's Product Certificate (CPC) to ensure it meets all U.S. standards for:
- Heavy metal limits
- Phthalates and chemical safety
- Mechanical and physical safety
- Tracking label requirements
- Safe age-grading and design
This level of testing is required by U.S. law and gives parents peace of mind that the product touching their child's skin has been properly evaluated.
*Why this matters*
Some bibs sold online-especially from overseas sellers-do NOT have the legal required CPSC certification. Without this testing, there is no verified assurance of material safety or compliance with U.S. children's product standards.
What is the Heaveroo Bib made of?
The Heaveroo Bib is crafted from 100% food-grade silicone, ensuring it’s safe, soft, and gentle for your little one. The material is flexible and comfortable—perfect whether your child is riding in the car, flying on a plane, or just tackling a messy meal.
Is the bib free from harmful chemicals?
Yes! The Heaveroo Bib is phthalate-free, BPA-free, and lead-free, so you can feel confident your little one isn’t exposed to harmful substances.
Is the Heaveroo Bib safe for my child?
Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. We designed this bib to be used on children 6mo and older. Along with being CPSC certified each bib is engineered with integrated breathability holes to support airflow in the event the child places the bib over their head.
Does it have any special design features?
Yes! In addition to its breathability holes for safety, the Heaveroo Bib’s smooth interior surface ensures quick, sanitary cleanup every time. Unlike other vomit bibs, ours has no internal lip or ridge, so it won’t trap vomit (or worse—dried vomit...YUCK!)
Can I use the Heaveroo Bib for feeding as well as travel?
Definitely. The Heaveroo Vomit Bib is multi-purpose — perfect for mealtime, catching spills, or motion sickness messes on the go. It’s just as handy in the car seat as it is in the highchair.
How do I clean the Heaveroo Bib?
Since the Heaveroo Bib has no internal lip or ridge, clean up is a breeze!! The Heaveroo Bib is dishwasher safe, or you can simply wipe it down with warm, soapy water. A quick rinse, and it’s ready to go again!
